Nathan Silverstein

Nathan Silverstein is the founder and host of the Washington to Warsaw Podcast, which focuses on transatlantic relations and European geopolitics. Previously, he served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he handled a broad range of policy areas, including homeland security, law enforcement, and immigration. He is also the founder and president of the U.S.-European Congressional Staff Association, where he hosted speaking events with top leaders in the transatlantic space, including Former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa, Ambassador of the European Union to the U.S. Jovita Neliupsiene, and Retired General and Congressman Don Bacon. Prior to his work as a Legislative Assistant, he served as a Staff Assistant for the U.S. House Appropriations Committee. 

​Silverstein graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin (UT) in May 2024, where he earned his B.A. in Government and a minor in Polish Language. At UT, he founded and led the Polish Club, where he organized speaking events with top Polish and American officials, including three former Presidents of Poland, three U.S. Ambassadors to Poland, and many Polish ministers.

From 2022-2024, Silverstein served as the Public Outreach Coordinator for former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Lech Walesa. Silverstein secured and organized speaking events for President Walesa around the world.
